On December 10, 2015, ICFNE celebrated our fourth successful year in partnership with the Massachusetts Conference for Women (MCW), where the value and profession of coaching gained much-deserved visibility!
ICFNE has become an integral part of the Massachusetts Conference for Women, which took place at the Boston Convention Center with more than 10,000 in attendance. 50 coaches from our membership represented ICFNE during the Coaches Corner event, bringing positive visibility to the profession of coaching.
This year we provided all ICF Credentialed coaches to coach all day during the conference and for the pre-event evening celebration on Dec 9th. Attendees participated in 20-minute laser coaching sessions to get support on life, business and/or career. We were busy throughout the day. Collectively, all the ICFNE members that participated in the conference impacted thousands of people through connecting, networking, and coaching.
Additionally, the vendor booth brought even more visibility to the coaching profession and ICFNE this year in a double booth layout with a generous Trade Show Grant from ICF Global that allowed us to provide many promotional materials to educate people about coaching and ICFNE. Throughout the day, anyone interested in getting coached or wanting to learn more about the coaching profession could talk with an ICFNE member at the booth situated in the conference Career Pavilion. We were sharing our ICFNE Find-a-Coach directory for those interested in pursuing coaching further.
It was a win-win experience for everyone involved! Coaches participating in the Coaches Corner received a complimentary ticket to the conference, where they listened to thought leaders, engaged in professional development, and were engaged and inspired! The opportunity for coaches to both give and receive inspiration, rejuvenation, and positive energy made it a great day for all!
This Boston-based event now ranks as the largest women’s conference in the USA! ICFNE is fortunate to be part of this growing movement! The Texas and Philadelphia Conferences for Women have also adopted this coaching model that was pioneered in Massachusetts by ICFNE member Anne Jolles,PCC.
All of this would not be possible without our amazing ICFNE MCW Committee who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this another powerful and rewarding experience. Thank you Brianne Krupsaw, Maggie French, Lisa Borchetta, Karen O’Donnell, Heather Holmes Floyd and Diane Whitehouse for all your time, effort and talents; we could not have done it with out you!
Inspired again by this amazing opportunity for coaching, we are already working on some exciting plans to further leverage this remarkable experience and bring it to new heights!
Join us next year!
