The Professional Certified Coach (PCC) markers were created to describe the behaviors that should be exhibited in a coaching conversation at the Professional Certified Coach level.
Attendees of this webinar will:
1. Learn the history and purpose of the PCC markers
2. Understand how the markers relate to the ICF Core Competencies
3. Clarify expectations of a PCC level coaching conversation
4. Observe the markers in coaching demonstrations
5. Review current credentialing requirements from the ICF
This webinar will provide an opportunity for an interactive conversation about the markers and an opportunity to observe or participate in coaching conversations to demonstrate the markers. A brief explanation of the history and distinctions of the markers will be delivered. The majority of the time will be observing or participating in coaching demos to allow the participants to observe the competencies.

Julie Shows, Master Certified Coach and Certified Mentor Coach has been working with coaches in developing a deeper understanding of the ICF Coaching Core Competencies for over 15 years. She has completed two ICF accredited coach training programs, Success Unlimited Network and the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Certificate Program and in 2009 completed the ICF accredited Mentor Coach Certification Program with Invite Change. Julie received her MCC from the International Coach Federation in 2000 and has successfully renewed that credential by completing the required 40 hours of CCEU’s every 3 years in ICF Core Competencies. For the past 10 years, Julie has been a volunteer on the ICF PCC/MCC Assessors Team and in 2013 she joined the ICF Markers Training Team and was part of the early development and training for the PCC markers. She has delivered the markers training for ICF and in the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Certificate Program. Since 2003, Julie has been on the faculty of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Certificate Program. From 2010 to 2014 she was a Program Director and is currently the Training Director. As part of her responsibility as Program Director and Training Director, Julie has been responsible for training students and faculty in the ability to demonstrate the ICF Core Competencies.
