ICFNE has much to celebrate after the 2013 Massachusetts Conference for Women, where the value and profession of coaching gained some much-deserved visibility!
ICFNE is now an integral part of the Massachusetts Conference for Women, which most recently took place on December 5, 2013, with a sell-out crowd of 10,000 women in attendance! ICFNE was there representing you, the coaches of ICFNE, and gaining more positive visibility for the profession of coaching.
Throughout the day, we hosted the ICFNE vendor booth in the marketplace where women interested in getting coached or in the profession of coaching could talk with an ICFNE member to get information and their questions answered.
During the last two hours of the day, 300 hundred women attended the Coaches Corner where they were coached by 50 ICFNE-member, certified coaches. Collectively, all the ICFNE members that participated in the Conference impacted thousands of people through connecting, networking, and coaching.
Coaches participating in the Coaches Corner received a complimentary ticket to the conference, where they listened to thought leaders, engaged in professional development, and were inspired! The opportunity for coaches to both give and receive inspiration, rejuvenation, and positive energy made it a great day for all!
Some highlights of ICFNE’S partnership with the Massachusetts Conference for Women:
- 25% increase in the number of ICFNE coaches requested by the Conference organizers this year.
- Branded signage in the Career Pavilion now reads, “Coaches Corner” and includes the ICFNE logo.
- Video testimonials of coaching participants – a new feature in 2013 – were recorded after their sessions, and are being professionally edited.
- “Office Hours,” the Conference for Women Radio Show, was introduced this past year. Each month, the program features an ICF guest coach.
This Boston-based event now ranks as the largest women’s conference in the USA! ICFNE is fortunate to be part of this growing movement! The Texas and Philadelphia Conferences for Women have also adopted this coaching model that was pioneered in Massachusetts.
Hats off to all those who worked so hard to represent our profession this year! We hope to see you there next year! We are already working on some exciting plans to leverage this remarkable experience and bring it to new heights!
Here are some additional pictures from the event!
Happy New Year!
