Steve Mitten is a senior Master Certified Coach who works with individuals, business owners and leaders to help them make powerful changes in their lives, careers and organizations. He coaches his clients on the issues most important to them including; business development, marketing, leadership, communication, time management, emotional intelligence, stress management and work/life balance so they can lead more effective and enjoyable lives.
As a coach and leadership trainer Steve has studied with the Coach Training Institute, Innerwork Solutions, The Banff Centre For Management and the Co-Active Space Leadership Program. He is a long time student of; the work of Kouzes and Posner, Peter Senge, Warren Bennis, Richard Boyatzis, Jim Collins, Daniel Goleman, the wisdom traditions and Integral Theory. Steve has served in many leadership capacities including that of 2005 President of the International Coach Federation, which represents over 12,000 professional coaches around the world.
Steve is the author of MARKETING ESSENTIALS FOR COACHES and routinely writes articles on coaching and personal development. He has been quoted in a range of newspapers and periodicals including Fast Company and Readers Digest. Steve brings to coaching over 27 years of business, management, marketing and leadership experience. As relates to business and entrepreneurial activities, he has started five companies, and been the President and Managing Director of two public companies with international operations. He is also familiar with the day-to-day challenges of balancing work, family and health.
Steve has been happily married for 27 years and is the proud dad of three daughters. He enjoys family, friends, travel and a variety of sports and outdoor activities. Summers are spent with the family at a cottage on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Steve loves to make a difference in people’s lives and routinely volunteers his time to assist others to find their inspiration, connect to their strengths and make powerful changes in their lives.
