Coaching for Self Leadership will introduce coaches to Internal Family Systems (IFS), a model of the human psyche that helps coaches and their clients grow up emotionally and wake up spiritually.

This  4 part webinar series will explore the six fundamental insights of Coaching for Self Leadership, an adaptation of IFS for coaches:

  • The human mind is naturally multiple. Because of this, coaches need to know how to distinguish among their clients’ parts or subpersonalities. Some parts are aligned with goals; others are not.
  • All parts are good. This means that coaches must welcome and respect all parts of their clients, even those parts that appear to block their clients from achieving stated goals.
  • We are Self. Self is the calm, confident, and compassionate core of every human being. When coaches access their own core and introduce a client’s parts to the client’s core, transformation happens.
  • The goal of all coaching is Self leadership. A Self-led person can manage all their internal subpersonailties, which may have different ideas of what success and happiness look like.
  • The internal world is system. Parts, or subpersonalities, live in a relational world. Coaches need to understand how parts of their client’s minds relate to each other in order to be effective.
  • The keys to happiness are held by the most vulnerable parts. The most tender and vulnerable parts of the human psyche are the ones that need to be accepted by Self before other parts of the psyche can relax enough to allow for transformation.

Coaching for Self Leadership provides a clear map of the human psyche, a method for working with the psyche’s many parts, and a way of life that leads to deep and lasting transformation for both coach and client.

Most coaches have found that their basic coach training allows them to help clients begin to make some changes in behavior but that deeper change is elusive. Coaching for Self Leadership will help coaches and their clients transform safely and deeply, that is, to grow up and wake up.

    Key Learning Objectives:

  • Introduce a map of the psyche that explains why clients often resist change that they know is in their own best interest.
  • Show coaches how to work with parts of the psyche that may block change.
  • Give coaches a North Star for every coaching session.
  • Teach coaches a gentle, respectful, collaborative method of working with clients of all ages and stages.
  • Increase the coach’s access to their calm, confident, and creative core.

All registrants will receive a recording after each call. You do not have to listen live to receive the CCE Credit. You must register before event commencement to receive the recordings.
