Join Jennifer Brown (she/her/hers) -- workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion expert, and author of Inclusion: Diversity, the New Workplace and the Will to Change, and How to be an Inclusive Leader, and her newest co-authored book, Beyond Diversity: 12- Non-Obvious Ways to Build a More Inclusive World- for a thought-provoking presentation about inclusion, intersectionality, and the call to action for allies.

How can we coach leaders in efforts to build more inclusive workplace environments where all kinds of talent feel welcome, and use their voices to be allies for all?

Solving problems of inequality and achieving real change will require authentic, inclusive and intentional leadership. The most effective leaders are cultivating new traits, including empathy, self-awareness, vulnerability, cultural competence, emotional intelligence, and risk taking. They are personally committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), purpose and sustainability - and are willing to hold themselves and others publicly accountable for results. Jennifer Brown shares actionable insights for coaches guiding inclusive leaders who are navigating today's changing and uncertain environment, creating workplaces that are equitable and inclusive for all members.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to coach leaders in efforts to build more inclusive workplace environments.

  • Understand inclusion, intersectionality, and the call to action for allies.

The session will be recorded and available to registrants after the session, but you must participate in the session live in order to receive any related Core Competency CCEs (if applicable).

CCE Units: 1.0 Total: 0.5 Core Competency, 0.5 Resource Development
