Often, it can appear as if the language of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is complicated, ever changing and expanding.  This usually results in people trained on the legal requirements of DEI (what they are not to do), but rarely given the adaptation skills needed to feel comfortable while navigating and building cultural awareness. This session is focused on demystifying DEI and showing stakeholders the mindset and approach to get more comfortable in speaking up, influencing people, and responding effectively and quickly in DEI situations.

The learning objectives for this presentation will include:
  • To understand the language and terminology you absolutely need to know in DEI.

  • To understand the commitment (mindset and approach) needed to be more proactive in responding to any DEI issues you encounter.
