Coaching for Measurable Impact

About this event

How do you and your clients know that your coaching is adding value? While establishing SMART goals are our intention as professional coaches, key areas of development are often harder to track without a structured approach to action steps and metrics. Yet a general sense of reported progress leaves the individual, sponsor, and coach with only a vague understanding of whether the coaching is making the desired impact over time. In this 90-minute session we will learn how to increase your impact as a coach by breaking development goals that tend to be loosely measured down into steps that allow you to hold the coachee accountable, identify what is working/not working so you can revise their strategy, help them gain confidence along the journey, and ultimately prove to the sponsor the value of your coaching.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify common development challenges that are often “under-measured”, leaving the value of coaching unclear
  2. Work through ways to structure and review the coachee’s development plan so that progress metrics for each goal are clear, tracked and reportable throughout the duration of coaching
  3. Receive peer coaching on how to address your own challenges and opportunities to coach for measurable impact
