Biography
Sarah M. Kipp is a professional speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant. Sarah brings humor and wit to the stage and believes that the best way to take in new information is to share a laugh and discover what lights us up!
Sarah helps people in positions of power and influence have the impact they need and want. In 2006, she founded a coaching and advising firm for leaders. Her company focuses on leadership and learning and how to accomplish transformative work in businesses and universities. Training programs include Writing in the Workplace™; Public Speaking and Presenting; Creating Conversations: Language, Learning, and LGBTQIA+ Loved Ones; and Educators' Perceptions of Trauma in Higher Education.
She is the author of Communicate to Connect™: Presenting to Leaders, a companion text for the workshops she leads, and Courage in the Lake, a compilation of humorous and heartfelt autobiographical essays. In 2023, she completed her dissertation entitled Communicate to Connect: Kate Bornstein, X González, and Judy Shepard Reflect on Self-awareness Strategies and Presenting to Inspire Social Change.
Sarah is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation. She received her coach certification (CPC) through iPEC. Sarah is also a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). She holds a Bachelor of Science in English, a Master of Science in Deaf Education, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Development and Learning.
