Taking to heart the notion of gratitude from the upcoming Gratitude Awards Gala, there are many who would like to take this opportunity to extend their thanks to those who make ICFNE activities possible at many levels.

I’m grateful for Anne Jolles and the Mass Conference for Women opportunity and the awareness she has created around coaching there.
I am grateful to the entire board, great group to work with… it’s been an awesome experience for me this past year as a newbie into the ICFNE. I’m grateful for my partner, Laurie McAnaugh, who is just an awesome team mate around sponsorship!! I’m grateful for Suzan Czajkowski and all she does for ICFNE while also educating us on social and marketing media and all with an incredible offer of help, all the time! I’m grateful for Ed’s even hand, Karen’s incredible leadership and Stephanie’s promise for the future!
From Liz Cheever, VP of Admin & Finance:
As the Admin & Finance VP, my perspective is all about the money. How are we doing? Where is the money going? Can we do what programming wants us to? Can we continue to grow in our vision to bring amazing learning and networking opportunities to our members? I am grateful that the answer to these questions all year have been, “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Thank you, in particular, to our amazing folks in sponsorship: Karen O’Donnell, VP of Sponsorship and her right-hand-woman, Laurie McAnaugh, for encouraging outside support of our organization so that we can afford to reach farther and farther every time.
To the ICF NE Board: WOW. I’m in awe of your contribution to building and growing an exciting, fun chapter; it’s a pleasure to work with you, and learn from you. Anne Jolles: Thank you for dreaming up the Coaches Corner, and being at the helm in bringing it to fruition – what a fantastic project for so many reasons. Kim Ravida, Grace Durfee, Karen Carmody, Diane Moss, and Lisa Borchetta: Thank you for supporting me and the coaching profession by participating in “my” Coaches Corner. Not surprisingly, your inspiration was appreciated by all who were fortunate enough to be coached by you. Stephanie Marisca; you are a terrific friend and colleague. Bill Sex: Thank you for being a sponsor at an ICFNE chapter meeting 9 years ago. Your very presence sold me on New England Coaching, for which I am forever grateful. Last but not least, I am grateful to be a coach; I have grown and continue to grow in ways I could never have imagined as a result.
From Karen Burke, President:
To Suzan Czajkowski, the Third Party Administrator for ICFNE. Suzan is the Administrative glue of ICFNE. The Board joins me in a big “Whoo-hoo” for Suzan, and THANKS! Thank you to this year’s Past President, Ed Evarts. Terrific mentorship! Thanks Ed! Thank you, Stephanie Marisca, for your leadership! Congratulations on your upcoming Presidency!
From Bonnie Petrovich, VP of Marketing:
I would like to express my gratitude to Liz McGrory, Aimee Yorsaner, Christian Presley and Suzan Czajkowski for all their contributions to Marketing’s success this past year. As a brand-spankin’-new VP of Marketing, it was Liz (the “veteran email coordinator”) and Suzan (the “veteran incumbent”) who calmly and enthusiastically helped me learn the ropes. Aimee graciously and willingly responded to the call to add more social media communications to support our events. And, at the end of the season, Christian came in to “pinch hit” with email communications as Liz transitioned off the team to focus on her book launch and next steps with her Mommy-Energy coaching business (good luck, Liz!). Our Chapter has now contracted with Suzan to take on the significant task of producing all the weekly email communications. As one of the largest ICF chapters in the country, this “volunteer position” has shifted into the realm of a paid task. I am glad to have been a part of a team that helped our chapter take its next steps in community building, regular communications — via email, website, and social media — and programming support and expansion. I’ve heard many appreciative comments from members about the flow of information — I’m glad you feel we’ve served you. It does take many hands in this “small, part-time volunteer organization!” I am grateful to have collaborated with my fellow coach-volunteers!
From Maggie French, VP of Membership:
As Membership VP I am grateful for the ability to (wo)man the registration table this last year and a half. It has given me the opportunity to personally meet many of the wonderful individuals who make up the membership of ICF New England and the energizing spirit of coaches. Further, I am so appreciative of the support and assistance of those who helped with aspects of membership through the Membership Committee. I thank them for their efforts:
Barbara Newton Brian Tracy
Greta Douglas Susan Gallant
From Stephanie Marisca, VP of Programming, Incoming President for 2014-2015: I am so very grateful for the connections and relationships I have made through coaching and the privilege to work with such an amazing ICFNE Board of Directors for the last 2 years as VP of Programming. I am grateful for this amazing ICFNE Community – your support, interest and enthusiasm about our chapter events over the last 2 years has been a big part of our growth and success. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to:
- Lisa Borchetta for your ear and support, Marianne Mullen for our teleclasses, and Michael Bloom for sharing your connections.
- Our Logistics Queen, Brianne Krupsaw who kept things running smoothly behind the scenes and tending to the needs of our presenters to make our events special for all.
- Our many outstanding presenters who gave generously of their time and expertise.
- Our sponsorship team Karen O’Donnel and Laurie McAnaugh for your terrific outreach.
- Bonnie Petrovich for always coming through with last minute marketing efforts and Suzan Czajkowski for simplifying our jobs and keeping us organized.
- Liz Cheever for your support and enthusiasm and Ed Evarts for your humor and gentle nudge.
- Maggie French for your outstanding organization, creative thinking and for double dipping next year.
- Karen Carmody who took a leap of faith and stepped in to take the Programming role for 2015-2017.
- Anne Jolles for her creative thinking, enthusiasm, passion and excitement for coaching to create the Coaches Corner.
- All my outstanding friends and colleagues that have supported me through this journey, you know who you are!
Last but not least, thank you to Karen Burke for our important reminder mantra “SPTVO” and your grounded leadership this past year. Thank you all, I look forward to another year of collaboration, outreach and growth.
And finally: We recognize that with all of the work that goes in to making ICFNE a success, there is no way to not miss someone. If that someone was you: Thank you! We are grateful for every hand that reaches up to hold this organization afloat!
