The Neuroscience of Coaching
About this event
In this interactive webinar we will look at three major challenges our clients bring to coaching and the neuroscience rationale that grounds the coaching approach to these challenges.
- Managing change and the science of neuroplasticity
- Impact of stress on the brain and effectiveness
- Balancing being and doing and the science of the two networks of the brain
We will have conversations about the impact of these challenges on clients’ effectiveness and the power of understanding how our brains work.
We will highlight “this is why coaching works” and we will share a coaching tool that you can use right away with your clients.

Learning Objectives:
Gaining an understanding of
- how change impacts neural pathways and how to make change more sustainable.
- the impact of stress on the Prefrontal cortex and a coaching strategy to support clients’ in becoming more aware of the impaired functioning of the PFC when under too much (or too little stress).
- the two networks of the brain that need to be activated at different times - either for being fully present and focused and also when we need to access insights and reflect. This challenge of balancing being and doing has an important neuroscience component.
- which coaching strategies work best when it comes to these three challenges
