Applying laser -focused coaching allows you to go deeper rather than broader, thereby staying more focused, maximizing the time, and creating long–lasting change. Become aware of what you are actually listening for in every conversation.

Realize the importance and impact of the first question after hearing the client’s situation. The reflection and first question after the client’s situation set the depth for the rest of the conversation. Discover some very simple, powerful advanced techniques and tools and the simple, yet profound way of making any question thought–provoking and powerful. Many coaches and organizational development practitioners have rejuvenated their practice through the use of the structural dynamics framework and assessment tools.

This series will focus on:

• Direct Communication: Stop walking on eggshells and know how to say what’s really on your mind without offending the client.
• Themes: The most powerful coaches move quickly beyond the stories and delve into the themes. Listen to a 15-minute coaching segment demonstrating a theme, the shift, direct communication, silence, and evoking awareness.
• Everything You Wanted to Know About Coaching and Haven't Have a Chance to Ask: Q&A with participant's challenges and examples from your clients or coaching questions in general.
• Come together to wrap up and apply the experience. Practice together and report out on learning, challenges, and applications of Laser focused coaching methods and tools. This last session will be led by your ICF NE chapter committee members.

All registrants will receive a recording of the event afterwards. You do not have to listen live to receive the CCE Credit. You must register before event commencement to receive the recordings.

CCE Units: 4 Core Competency; 4 Total

Please note:  ICFNE will provide one copy of your CCE certificate when you have met the qualifications for attendance.  We are not able to provide additional copies. We recommend you download and print the email containing your CCE certificate immediately upon receipt.

Marion’s book, The HeART of Laser-Focused Coaching: A Revolutionary Approach to Masterful Coaching was written for coaches at all experience levels. She created and facilitates ongoing weekly group Mentor Practicums, “Coach with Confidence,” offering certification preparation, mentor requirement, CCEUs.

 

Marion mentors and prepares coaches for the ACC, PCC, or MCC certification with a 100% success rate thus far. Her wisdom and insight are evident through her e-book/audiobook, Life’s Little Lessons and CoachCamps audios.
