Coaches will learn to identify a team’s current mood, their ideal mood, and how to close the gap. Dan has used this methodology with a wide variety of team types and sizes and they are always amazed at the new possibilities it introduces, including:

  • How to introduce emotion into your individual or group coaching

  • How to show a team the power of working with their emotions

  • How to help a team identify their current and ideal moods and how to close the gap

The elements in the presentation will include:
  • Sharing a new interpretation of emotions that allows them to be used as a tool

  • Introducing what emotions are from a practical perspective and a pattern for decoding them

  • The essential distinction between emotions and moods and why that is an important focus for teams

  • Including six volunteers in a demonstration of what happens when we do not align a team emotionally

  • A technique for team self-alignment that puts the authority and responsibility for their mood into their hands

  • Questions and answers
